My work at Label Anim

Anatole Latuile

On Anatole Latuile, I was tasked to schedule and drive development meetings. I identified the action items in each meeting, and recorded, and distributed notes. I also scheduled weekly animatic screenings and storyboard meetings. I tracked Executive notes from script outline to animatic lock stages.

I executed production assistant tasks such as color prepping files, completing script breakdowns, creating design packs, and calling out designs from a storyboard. I also built animatic design breakdowns. Finally, I aided in the organization and tracking of designs and assets, and filed artwork in servers.

Once the episodes are sent to be animated in overseas studios, I communicated effectively with them about the specific needs of each episode.

La Rose Ecarlate

Working on The Scarlet Rose, I was tasked to schedule and drive development meetings. I identified the action items in each meeting and recorded, and distributed notes.

I executed production assistant tasks such as color prepping files, completing script breakdowns, creating model packs, and calling out designs from a storyboard. I also conducted research on the graphic novel to find specific designs for the storyboarders.

I worked as a liaison with high-profile talent and other industry professionals, answered phone/rolling calls, and set conference calls.

I was lucky to attend the auditions for each character and assisted the producers in choosing the voice actors. My input was especially appreciated in picking the voice actor of the Fox, the co-protagonist and love interest of the show. Thanks to my knowledge of the graphic novel and each of the scripts that I had read, I could help decide which voice actor suited the Fox's personality the most. Eventually, it was my pick that was retained.

I was also present during the voice recordings and assisted the sound team and producers in picking the circle takes.

I helped reviewing and editing the animatics for the pilot episode. I recorded the producers notes and delivered them to the storyboarders.

Finally, I translated and created the pitch deck for potential English-speaking buyers.

Unnanounced Project

I wrote coverage on the first season. I was proud that thanks to my input, several scenes were changed in the episodes to create more visual comedy and coherence between the episodes.

I was extremely lucky to get the opportunity to write and pitch an episode for this project that is currently under consideration for production.

Using Photoshop, I also helped create the pitch deck and translate it from French to English.

Tilou Bleu - Pre-school show

The project still being at a very early stage, I assisted in creating the pitch deck and edited the trailer video for a presentation for potential buyers.

Unannounced show - 6-11 fantasy show

I provided script coverage on the TV show's pitch. Thanks to my input, the main storyline was changed in order to create mini-character arcs for the main character. The story is a reset-button-type story. I added the idea of the main character having mini-problems at the beginning of each episode that she would resolve by the end thanks to what she learned during her magical journey. This allows the story to become richer and for the audience to see themselves in the main character struggling with everyday problems.

Unnanounced Project - 6-11 comedy

I provided script coverage on several episodes of the show.

Working alongside the showrunner and producer, I came up with different changes and additions that were added to the scripts. I participated in the creation of a new main character that made appearances in every episode of the show. Additionally, I helped improve the structure of the episodes. Our protagonist being dogs, I also came up with lists of canine jokes. I only hope they weren't too DO(d)GY...

I also helped make the pitch deck with Photoshop.
